Transparency about funding is essential to trust. Here is how Trajectory operates.

Funding

Trajectory is funded by reader subscriptions. We offer both free and paid tiers:

  • Free: Access to selected articles and the Trajectory Daily Brief
  • Paid: Full access to all analysis, synthesis reports, and archives

Subscription revenue is our only funding source. We do not receive grants, government funding, or institutional support.

Advertising and sponsorship

Trajectory does not publish advertising. We do not accept payment for coverage, favourable analysis, or sponsored content of any kind.

If this policy ever changes, it will be disclosed here and in any affected content.

Trajectory does not currently use affiliate links. If we ever do, they will be clearly disclosed.

Conflicts of interest

Contributors to Trajectory may hold investments, professional roles, or other interests that could relate to topics we cover. Where a specific conflict exists that is material to an article, we will disclose it.

As a general disclosure: contributors may hold broad market investments such as index funds and diversified portfolios, and may have professional backgrounds in government, defence, technology, or related fields. These backgrounds inform our analysis but do not direct our conclusions.
